Giant tides tour. We were thrilled with the tour: very efficiently operated, humourous and interesting commentary and of course the destination among the island of the Buccaneer Archipelago. Our tour guide Willie has vast knowledge of the seas and land in this area. He shared family and broader community stories as well as a good dose of the history of the region. We saw rolling, boiling seas, many whirlpools of varying strength and size and the waterfall created as the tides receded from the reef. A sensational tour. Not to be missed.

We did the giant tides boat trip which I enjoyed more than horizontal falls. The staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable and the scenery is staggering. It is truly a humbling experience to witness the force of nature up so close in a pristine environment. A must do. We ate at the restaurant which has good selection and the four of us were very satisfied with the freshness and taste. A credit to the staff. I also previously stayed at Cygnet Bay and found it very relaxing. The glamping tents are also very comfortable and a great experience.

Incredibly special part of the world. So glad we extended our stay and were able to do 2 tours - giant tides were so impressive but the cultural tour with Terry was amazing - so impactful and he was great with the kids too - they got so much from the experience Mangroves, the colour of the water, great pool plus the friendly service (so accomodating!) made for a great stay (gorgeous pearls too!)
