A Bardi Jawi man is dressed in traditional clothing, with culturally significant body paint covering his face, chest and arms. He wears a headband with a piece of Mother of Pearl resting between his forehead and the headband, shining with great lustre, and at the back of his head are several feathers that flourish from the sides of his head. He holds a boomerage in both hands and stares into the distance.
